The watch didn't start when I tapped Start on the phone. Open SoleRunner on the watch once so it can register, and keep the watch app installed. The phone falls back to recording with its own GPS after a few seconds.
My imported runs are missing routes. Only activities that had GPS in the export carry a route. Runs already in Apple Health are matched to the import so nothing is duplicated.
How do I race a past run? On the Runs tab tap the race chip under Start, or open any run and choose "Race this run". Ghost racing is part of SoleRunner Pro.
Can someone without the app follow my run? Not live. Live following is for friends inside SoleRunner. You can send anyone a picture of a finished run, or a GPX file, from the run's ••• menu.
How do friends work? Runs tab › Friends shows your code. Swap codes with a friend; once you've both added each other you'll get a notification when they start a run, can watch it live, and see their recent runs. Nobody can find you without your code.
Safety contacts. Settings › Live sharing › Safety contacts. When you start sharing a run, a text saying you're out running (with your friend code) is filled in for you to send. Apple doesn't allow apps to send texts silently.
Restore purchases. Settings › SoleRunner Pro › Restore purchases.
Delete my account. Settings › Account › Delete account removes everything backed up to the cloud. Runs stay in Apple Health on your device.
